Taxes

The $RILA token is tax free for several reasons, firstly the ecosystem is funded by the game itself via the redistribution mechanism that we have created, and secondly taxes on tokens are a considerable drag on volume and adding on Tier 1 CEXs. As our goal is to make Rivaland a project with global adoption, it would be counterproductive to slow down the propagation of the project's fuel that the $RILA token is.

Nota bene: The token will not be taxed and is not intended to be, however in order to protect investors from the impact of potential frontrun bots when adding liquidity to QuickSwap, and this, even if our contract includes an anti-bot protection, we will apply a temporary tax of 5% decreasing during the hours following the launch to ensure that no investor is harmed. This will drop to 0% after 5 hours. The entire revenue from the tax will be redistributed as rewards to the top players on the game leaderboard in the weeks following the token's launch.
